Education

My undergraduate degree is in French, from the University of California at Santa Barbara. My M.A. is in English, with a specialty in TESOL, from San Francisco State University. Both are great programs in lovely cities with interesting people!

My current research concerns the training of Japanese secondary teachers of English. I am especially interested in their pedagogical beliefs and dilemmas. Relevant papers are:
