Writing 2: Main page
In this course, you will review basic English grammar while you learn how to write compound sentences. You will learn how to connect sentences into paragraphs through words that signal rhetorical organization. You will learn to recognize and write topic and concluding sentences in paragraphs.
To prepare for writing each task, you will do the following: free writing, grammar practice, and guided writing. After each task is corrected, you must turn in a final typed copy.
You will write at your own skill level: some students will do these tasks as paragraphs, other students will complete the tasks as short essays.
