How to write your senior paper

Here, I explain the basics of doing a research paper. I cover nine areas. You should read them in order:

1. What are references?
2. Preparing the references
3. Organizing the references
4. Integrating the references

5. Citing the references
6. Examples of citations
7. Making a reference List
8. Finishing the paper
9. Examples of sources

In order to understand the explanations, we will look at an example of a research paper as it is being written.

All about... cats???

We will use the example of an academic paper about cats. Why CATS? Because the topic is simple, you can understand the references easily. The ideas are simple, so you can pay attention to HOW the references are used. (Of course, your senior paper will not be about cats-- I hope!)
